Club X Response to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

To our valued guests and Club X Loyalty members,

Club X has always prioritised the health and safety of its customers, employees and their families. Operations continue as normal as Club X continues to monitor the advice of the Australian Department of Health.

Our top priority is everyone’s health and wellbeing. We highly recommend customers everywhere follow the health and travel advice of relevant authorities.

No incidence of COVID-19 has been reported within any Club X location. That said, appropriate measures and existing protocols are in place and continue to develop to mitigate unnecessary risk.

Inclusive of, but not limited to;

• Educating employees on important prevention measures
• Installation of Hand Sanitizer dispensers at all Retail and Entertainment outlets.
• Avoidance of any person with cold or flu like symptoms.
• Cleaning high contact surface points more regularly and thoroughly.
• Enhanced deep cleaning of areas frequented by guests and employees daily, cinemas. Movie Preview Lounges.
• Increased stock of hand sanitiser deployed to locations.

I encourage our employees and guests to practise good hygiene, inclusive of covering your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing, coughing into a flexed elbow, disposing of tissues and washing your hands rigorously (for at least 20 seconds) with soap or alcohol-based rubs.

Club X actively encourages any employee or guest who is feeling unwell to refrain from visiting our locations until seeking medical advice from a qualified practitioner. Please self-isolate until results are conclusive.

Update to Online Deliveries

Australia PostAustralia Post made some changes to delivery process due to the increasing impact of coronavirus. The health and safety of everyone in the communities in which we operate is our priority. Australia Post have now implemented additional measures with delivery drivers and posties when delivering parcels. To minimise the risk of contracting or spreading coronavirus, when the customer answers the door, Australia Post people who make deliveries will greet them and ask: “Are you unwell? If so, have you been diagnosed with the coronavirus?”. If they answer yes to either of these questions, They will ask them to stay inside and leave the parcel on the front door for them to collect once the driver has left. Australia Post will not be asking for a signature on delivery in these cases and drivers will sign on customer's behalf and take a photograph of delivery. We thank you for your support while Australia Post implement these new measures to ensure everyone continue to stay safe and healthy.
